What makes it so difficult to run a multilingual event?

Finding the right interpreters

We can source the best multi-language, conference-level interpreters for any language combination or specific expertise.

Deadlines and pressure

Event planning can be incredibly taxing and chaotic. We'll do the heavy lifting for you and support you before, during and after the event.

Setting up the right tech stack

Interprefy offers scalable, reliable, and secure language solutions that work with your selected videoconferencing platform and AV tech stack.

All hands on deck for your event success

We provide end-to-end support for on-site and remote events through our Operations and Client Delivery department. Every Interprefied event is reviewed by an Operations Manager who will assign the best suited Project Manager and Remote Support for your event needs.

Our support covers two main areas: project management and event support. This includes assistance before an event and remote monitoring during an event. Additionally you may require on-site support (setting up equipment), hardware support, and media services for later use.

Project Management

Your dedicated project manager will coordinate your multilingual event requirements from start to finish. They will also provide you with relevant instructions and materials and they'll be the person to clarify any concerns you may have to make your event a success.

Your project manager will:

  • coordinate your technical requirements with the event's IT/AV specialists and/or event platform partner;
  • provide advice and materials on technical readiness;
  • create the Interprefy sessions;
  • source interpreters or request trainings for your interpreting teams with our Training and Engagement Specialists;
  • create glossaries for Interprefy AI;
  • schedule and perform a 1-hour technical test a few days before the event;
  • book additional, paid Dry runs with interpreters;
  • and ensure everything is in order to deliver the best possible service to you.

Remote Support Technicians

To ensure consistent quality and reliability, our team of experienced remote support technicians help set up Interprefy sessions on the day of the event and monitor interpretation, audio and video throughout. Your remote support technicians will:

  • connect to the event at least one hour before the start;
  • perform a sound check with the interpreters or check Interprefy AI is received on all language channels;
  • connect Interprefy to your event platform;
  • maintain a direct line with all interpreters throughout your event;
  • set up internal communication channel to monitor event activities;
  • report on the event every 5 minutes  on internal channels;
  • log a session report rating platform, interpreters, and Interprefy AI's performance, as well as issues or troubleshooting steps taken.

Interprefy’s unique and stringent quality control, remote interpretation support, and technical expertise mean that your event will go smoothly from beginning to end.

Media Services

You can request media services on demand. If you do, our Operation Managers will assign one or more video editors to be ready to work on your files as soon as the event is over. Your project manager will then send the recordings over to you using a secure exchange service.

We have three levels of media services:

  • live which will produce the content as it was created on the meeting;
  • enhanced where our team of video editors will technically edit your content to, for example, match the languages to the subtitles, create burnt-in captions or generate videos with embedded audio channels;
  • premium where your content will be edited by linguists to provide you with broadcast quality subtitles and voiceovers.

Stress-free support of your event

Whether on-site or online, short notice or planned, we help you to deliver events that are free of stress and to your audience’s expectations.

"The feedback we received from our LFC participants regarding the interpretation was really good. Interprefy’s on-site support was amazing and reactive – they even organised headphones for those that forgot theirs. The service was new for us – but we were really happy with it."

Tania Pavlovic
Programme Management Officer

"Flexibility and speed of deployment were key as we didn’t have any booths and requests were delivered at short notice. Interprefy helped us to keep on top of everything – allowing us to interpret content for our audiences at our conferences across Europe and Prague."

Ivica Juresa
Director, Global Programs & Events

"Our event needed to be delivered in multiple languages but we wanted to avoid the logistical costs of setting up interpreter booths. We also expected changes to be made to the agenda at short notice – so we needed a flexible solution. Interprefy enabled us to translate content remotely – with ease and excellent sound – and deliver it to our audience through their smartphones. It really is a simple and effective solution."
